The Seahorse Cushion provides trunk stability in side-lying using only one cushion. A client can be supported and repositioned at 30°, 70°, or 90° of rotation—or, if placed in front, the cushion can provide lateral positioning at 135°. Repositioning during sleep can be achieved by manipulating the contour of the malleable EverPod™ core without disrupting the individual.
The weight and stability of the cushion provide a sense of support and safety—reducing agitation and allowing the individual to relax. With support under the neck and between the legs, pressure is distributed evenly along the trunk, maintaining positioning and promoting skin protection. The combination of stability and sensory feedback contributes to the regulation of muscle tone and spasticity. It supports respiratory function, helps maintain comfortable positioning, and contributes to better muscle tone regulation for improved comfort and rest.
The Seahorse Cushion can be supplemented with NTG57 Lunar Cushion small and NTG10 Reef Cushion, to create additional pelvic stability and balance. Alternatively, the NTG13 Cloud Cushion or NTG10 Reef cushions can be used with the Seahorse Cushion to manage positioning of the Upper Extremities.

Our Positioning Cushions feature a waterproof, stretch PU cover designed for wipe-down disinfection in clinical settings. To ensure product longevity, safety, and performance, follow these cleaning and disinfection procedures:
Cleaning Procedure
Step 1: Remove Visible Soil: Wipe away spills, dirt, or organic matter using a damp cloth. All surfaces must be visibly clean before disinfection can be effective.
2. Disinfect: Use a soft cloth and a hospital-grade disinfectant wipe. Do not use hard surface cleaners or products with abrasive ingredients, as they may damage the cover.
3. Rinse: Wipe the cushion with a clean cloth dampened with water to remove all disinfectant residue. This step is critical—residual chemicals can compromise the cover's biocompatibility and accelerate material degradation.
4. Dry: Use a dry cloth to fully remove moisture before storage or reuse. Wet fabric is more vulnerable to wear and tear.
5. Important Notes
Do not machine wash or submerge the cushions in water.
Do not use hard surface cleaners or disinfectants formulated for floors and countertops
Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or stiff brushes
Do not use yse concentrated bleach or undiluted disinfectants
Do not use alcohol concentrations above 70% or alcohol-based aerosol sprays
Do not use the cushion if the cover is torn, punctured, or visibly damaged
Storage
Store cushions in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
